The +5 Homeowner's Electrical Protection Plan is available exclusively through Union Electrical Contractors.
It's simple. Buy a new home wired by an area Union Electrical Contractor
-- whose electricians belong to I.B.E.W. Local No. 701 -- and your
wiring is automatically protected for an extra five years beyond the
basic builder's one-year warranty. Ask your contractor for details
and eligibility.
This program covers the original owner for work done by local I.B.E.W.
electricians employed by NECA contractors on newly built homes, in the
unlikely event that electrical problems should develop during the
additional five years following the builder's one-year warranty. The
+5 Plan is provided at absolutely no additional expense to the
homeowner. There are no strings attached!
